It seems that opposite views emerged on who will get the government financial support, science students or business one. One view claiming that the government should invest the limited precious money to students who study science for scientists have contributed a lot to our ever-developed society. However, another view holding that both science and business students, they should be equally treated. Personally, I agree the former rather than the latter.
In the first place, the science is the frontier subject of human being, which makes revolutionary contributions to the society. As everyone knows that, from daily necessary such as TV set, computer, washing machine and so on to the high-tech such as internet, nuclear atomic and clone, have brought a huge benefits to our life. Everyone appreciates the scientists who make our life become easier and convenient. In this sense, it's definitely necessary that government invest more money to our future scientists since they will contribute more to society than business, language students.
In the second place, science is foundational subject, which requires more strenuous work and investment. It is true purchasing Lab facility, erecting computer centre and so on, will cost a lot, cultivating a qualified scientist need huge investment. Further more, look at the job marketing, students who graduated from science subject get less pay than business, language one. It is natural that they accept government financial support in advance. On the contrary, business and language belong to the applied subjects with high utility and instant profitability. Comparing with science students, they are easier finding a good pay job after their university study. So they should pay more money during their study since they can get more income in the future.
