10 Things I hate about you

The movie 10 Things I hate about you is based on the Shakespearian play, The Taming of the Shrew but has been developed into modern day form, it still has school setting for the a large portion of the movie and we get to see that they are learning Shakespeare in their English class so the movie has not been changed to the point where Shakespeare is not a part of the movie.
At the Beginning of the movie Kat, the main focus character that changes is represented as different, aggressive and intimidating towards her peers.
Patrick, "a mysterious bad-boy with a nasty reputation" is trying to go out with Kat, but he is only doing it for the money. He is getting payed to go out with Kat bye Joey, the rich high school model pretty boy, "Fabio" who wants to go out with Kat's sister Bianca who is not allowed to date until her sister does.
Patrick is unsuccessful in getting a date with Kat, until Pat meets her at Club Skunk and Kat notices Pat has given up smoking and Kat has said she " would die before dating anyone who smoked". This is the first sign of Kat beginning to change and sort of excepts Patrick offer of a date, she doesn't say yes and she doesn't say no, so it is kinda of left hanging.
When Bianca tries to sneak out to the party and gets caught and then begs Kat to go to the party so she can go too. Kat gives into her begging which is another sign of her changing.
When Kat is with Patrick at the party and Kat gets drunk and a possible concussion Kat takes her outside. The Swing Scene, this is when Kat first realises that Pat actually cares about her and is not as bad as his reputation would tell you.
After Pat refuses to kiss Kat as she was drunk and taking advantage of her and he is still only dating her for the money. Kat is angry that he wouldn't kiss her.
Eventually all is forgiven and we notice...
