Abortion
In my mind, the worst thing that a human person can do is kill a baby by abortion. I feel that this is very disrespectful to the human race and wish that I could make a difference and change abortion to being illegal. I would like to change this because some women do not understand that even when the baby is still in the mother's womb, that it (the baby) is still a living thing. Whenever I here about someone aborting there baby, it makes me so sad. I think that we can compare aborting babies to murdering. They are exactly the same things! Murdering is not allowed and is illegal but, abortion is legal and many people have different opinions on abortion. Some may think that abortion is cruel and wrong and some may think that it is reasonable. Those people might think that the baby hasn't been born yet so technically it isn't a living thing. In the Christian faith we believe that abortion is wrong and it is a mortal sin to have an abortion. Even if the women is for example not married or very young, it still doesn't give her a right to basically blame that on the baby and kill something that is living inside of her. Many girls don't want to tell their parents that they are pregnant so they go to the doctor and tell him/her to abort the baby. This is still the wrong thing to do and think. Again, just because you don't want to get in trouble with your parents, doesn't mean you have to give up a baby's life. They will never get to live in the real world and see how it works!
Maybe if the mother doesn't want to keep the baby, she can give it up for adoption. I have had a lot of experience with that because both of my brothers and one of my sisters were adopted. I can not even think about how bad it would be if their birth parents would have chosen abortion instead of adoption. I would not even know them. So as I said before, abortion is exactly like murdering. Adoption is the better choice!
