There have been countless tragedies caused by man throughout history, the Pearl Harbor bombing, the two World Wars, the Barracks bombing in Lebanon, and the Oklahoma City bombing, etc. were all terrible disasters. However, none of these events have created as much hatred and anger in North America than the recent terrorist attack on the United States. September 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four planes, crashing two into the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and the other into a field in western Pennsylvania. Soon after this happened the president of the United States vowed revenge on the individuals who committed this horrible act. The President promised the U.S. citizens and the world the use of military force against the organization that orchestrated the attack. Although it would almost certainly be the start of a very big war and it would destroy many innocent people's lives; the final result will be
more beneficial to the world in the long run.
The recent attack on the United States affected people around the world tremendously. The perpetrators of this assault should most definitely be punished for their terrible crimes. These people should be tracked down and pay with there lives all the suffering that they have caused. A precedence has to be set for future terrorists so they know the United States as well as other countries will not tolerate such despicable acts. If these terrorists believe that by committing acts of terrorism they let the world know their cause and gain sympathy well, little do they know they just damned it. The United States went after them in Afghanistan and now it's Iraq's turn.
