Advances In The Field Of Transportation
In the field of modern transportation in the last few decades has brought many extraordinary and revolutionary changes in the world. First, the conversion from public transport to personalized cars, from small passenger airplanes to jet planes, Boeings, Concorde's, that can transport from 200 to 400 passengers and lastly bus transport from block to block and city to city have increased the boundaries of mobility and communication dramatically. Cars have given us many new challenges and have changed our lives in many ways. Car help us travel from a city to another to attend a meeting or work on a project, or even going to another city to spend some holidays and relax. This used to take up to several hours or even days. Basically, cars have reduced the amount of time required to do a job, or reach to a job that requires transportation. A person can reach another country such as, travelling from Toronto, Canada to Washington, USA within 3 or 4 hours by plane because of the incredible means of transportation, which travels at an average speed of 600 or 700 miles per hour. In addition, these flying machines have increased our communication system of, 10 x better then the last few decades. Finally, another great, convenient, and cheap transportation service is the bus transit system. One of the features, people appreciate the most is the cost, which generally cost $2.00 and has almost remained the same in Canada for many years. Another great features include, on time schedule to its destination, a person can travel anywhere in the city, and the waiting time is less then 10 to 15 minutes at each stop. If this convenience was to be taken away from us we would have many severe problems, such as people without cars not only arriving late to work, many might remain jobless, decrease in efficiency, and many more. In conclusion, advance means of transportation has brought many advantages, and made our society a better place to live. It helps provide new jobs in the field,...
