Am I Like Someone On T.V.?
Last semester here at school, I made a new and wonderful friend. One day we were studying in the library when, out of the blue, she looked at me and said, "you know, you remind me of Jill Taylor." I was like, "who?" And she said, you know, the mom on Home Improvement." I said, yeah, okay, and never thought about it again. When we got this assignment, the first thing that crossed my mind was the comment my friend made to me, and so I started reflecting on some of the Home Improvement shows I had seen. Unlike Tim, my husband didn't wreck, and he did win the race. Needless to say, the following year, they banned my husband's stick.
The second similarity that Jill Taylor and I have is that we both live next door to widowers who love to tell stories. Wilson is Jill's widower neighbor, and he is in every episode. Someone in the Taylor family always end up wandering outside, usually with some sort of...
