Baby You Gotta Pay

When you've lost the match and the hurt sets in

and you ask "Why? Why did I lose?"

You have to search deep down inside

Ad ask if you've paid you dues.

And in the sessions of daily practice

To clinch the long, high hill?

Unending hours of practice,

weight training, running,

watching films,

perfecting technique,

fierce competition,

loneliness, staleness,

fatigue...

only to wake up

to another day

of the same ol' grind.

Some love...
