A Prayer for Death
When I awake,
I feel the pain.
A pain of emptiness
And loneliness
There is no one to comfort me,
To hold me,
To love me
I am alone,
Alone in the darkness of my thoughts
There is no bright and shinning armor in this nightmare.
My heart,
It aches.
It shivers,
It screams.
It begs for mercy
When being tossed and turned and molded
Into something not any rightful mind can imagine.
The tears slide down my cheek.
Why is this room so dark?
It's cold
Oh so cold
I am alone again.
Holding my own hand won't do me any good.
I will never be forgiven.
I am lost,
Hated,
And the world has turned against me.
I am so alone.
I am the one who hides, yet no one seeks in this game.
I have been forgotten.
Erased,
Oh how I wish I could just curl up and
Shrivel to pieces and die.
I don't want to be any part of this terrible world.
I am alone. No one can ever save my soul.
For all you non believers out there
and even to those who are
