Bob Marley The Great

bob marley was born in 1945 on febuary the 6th and he died on May 11 1981 aged 36
Robert Nesta Marley was a kind, peace loving reggae singer. He
was raised in a town called "Rhoden Hall", in the local area of
St.Ann. Many thought of him not just as a great singer -
he was also known for his work with his people and he had a huge
influnce on nations far beyond the boundries of Rhoden Hall.
He would rebel against what he thought was unfit or unjust, and
encouraged others to follow in his steps. He challenged the
local councils which were responsible for this behavior and took
a stand.

Because of his towns poor circumstances his environment was
rather tough, and without being a strong individual he would
probably not have gained what he did out of society and society
out of him.

In 1976 Bob was in his kitchen at home peeling a grapefruit
when his manager walked into the line of fire which was meant
for Bob. He took 4 shots to the groin and a bullet that he
dodged came off the wall, scraped Bob's chest, and dug it's
way into his left arm.

ANOTHER SHOOTING
" it was night and i was rehearsing at
56 hope road, and cool out there ,
y' know. And then gun shot start to fire
and t' ing, y' know . But after a while we
hear it was like some politically
motivated type o t' ing .But it was really
a good experience for i and i , y' know
nobody died. "
