Clash Of Culture

Different places with different cultures. The line that has seperated the east from the west has always existed. However, the role that the western world plays is gradully blurring this line.

people have their own ways of living, the differencs in lifestyles are especially obvious between the east and the west. to begin with, the climate and location. and later comes in their behaviour and reactions to different situations. This will, then, lead into the moral and cultural values that exist and stay in the society.

The eastern side of the world has always have a reputation of being traditional. While the western world would be more acceptance to new ideas and more open to foreign influences. that is how clash of culture come into existence.

Culture clashes are especially common in asian migrants to western countries such as the United states of America, Europe and Australia. Asian migrants, arrival to western countries, feel oblige to be 'one of them'. In order to have the feeling of acceptance by the society, and the attempt to be no different to them, they go against their culture's values. This is more obvious in teenage groups as compared to the rest.

Relating back to the article, a very lucky daughter, her relationship with her family might start to drift, because that is where the clash of the western and eastern values sets in. So wether it is a good idea for an asian to migrate and get settled in a western country with western culture is still a debate. As long as they know how to cope and deal with the problem and come up with some sort of solutions, the clash of culture would not resulted them
