Hamlet

In the royal court of Ellsinore castle prince Hamlet states:
"Denmark's a prison". Many things had happen recently in Hamlet's life that make him feel apprehensive and profoundly distorted. The causes for Hamlet's transformation line up from his father unexpected death, his mother's hasty marriage to her brother-in-law, the appearance of a ghost demanding for vengeance, to the rejection of his dear girlfriend Ophelia and the snooping around his life of his family and friends. In this assignment I will give details in relation to Hamlet's above quotation.

In such a short time there's been so much going on in Hamlet's life, such as drastic changes and misfortunes. In Hamlet's mind there are mixed feelings like hate towards the new king, which grows stronger every day, for not only he married his mother within just about a month of his father's death, but he also took the throne away from him. His father's death was an overwhelming event for Hamlet, painful, mournful which adds the disillusion towards his mother's disregard to the death of her first husband. Furthermore, he faces the devastating truth about his father's death confessed apparently by his father's ghost. He reveals to Hamlet that his wicked brother killed him while sleeping in his orchard. The ghost tempts Hamlet to assassinate the king and gain revenge. At this point Hamlet feels very frustrated, his world just shattered and he doesn't know what to do. Therefore Hamlet asks permission to go away, back to college but his mother and uncle plea him to stay. Consequently Hamlet is trapped in the castle not able to avoid his malicious uncle, perplexed, distrustful, reflecting on his next decisions.
Hamlet became tired of this sinful world; he had no more pleasure in the things he used to do. Moreover another sadness was added to his ongoing sorrows; Ophelia, his girlfriend has been forbidden by her father Polonius to see Hamlet, so she had rejected him returning his...
