A Journey To The Grassland-In-The-Sky

We set off to the grassland-in-the-sky (this name came from its high sea level) in an early morning last summer, driving by myself and my boyfriend, Jesper. Since it would be a tough drive, I asked Xiaohe, the driver in our company, to come along with us.

It was really a lovely day, the pure white clouds was floating slowly in the clear sky, the sunlight was shining on the earth, warmly and brightly; the gentle wind was caressing our faces. Without our notice, two and half hours passed, and the city had been left far behind us. Having decided to experience another kind of scenery and cut the long distance shorter as well, we made our way to go through the rang of mountains. While our car began to bump up and down non-stop, the wind became definitely cooler and cooler. We slowed down, crawling patiently along the rough mountain road.

To be honest, we all felt a bit frustrated about the ordinary dull view outside after having driven another two hours. But it utterly changed soon, the road gradually winds upper and upper till we found as if we were in a fair tale world suddenly, we stopped off and hop off, stumped by the spectacular view. Snowcap was glittering under the sun miles away, the lush trees and grass waved slightly in the wind, horses and sheep were rambling on the hillside, eating or resting, a eagle was circling high overhead seeking its victim. And not very far away, the vast grassland loomed ahead and the sweet smell of the unknown flowers filled in the air. We totally relished it, feeling our languages were so pale and powerless in front of the nature. People say the most beautiful scene is in the perilous peak, now you can say it again.

After a mass of photo-taking and a entirely rest, we head for our destination again. It was almost dinner time when we arrived my friend¡¯s hotel for holidays. He prepared a very nice meal to welcome us. We laughed happily, drinking, singing and dancing. What a good...
