Li River
Millions of people from other countries come to Guilin each year in order to look at the hills,rivers,rocks.These things are available everywhere here,but they are different which can make you supprised and charmed.
Li river is the mother river of Guilin,belonging to Pearl River system.It is about 160km long total,and from Guilin to Yangshuo it is the masterpiece of of the river,which is by far one main reason for people to visit Guilin.With its picturesque scenery,Li River becomes one of China's top tourist destinations.
The river trip is over 80km long and takes 7 to 8 hours.Li River winds through the rising and falling hills and peaks like a green silk ribbon,and natural scenic wonders unfold on both sides of the river.What make people charmed is the reflection of landscape in water.The postures of hills change continuously with the remotion of the boat.The water of Li River is unusual clear,I think,maybe there is not another river's water like this.It is so crystal that you can see the pebble on the bottom,even the pebble's pattern,and the shine of the sand,even the crawl trail of the insect passing.The grass in the river is very dense,like the long leaves,flowing along the direction of the river and flashing the dark green light.
Frankly speaking,I can't remember the last time I went to Li River.Seven years ago?or even eight years ago?I'm not sure.But obviously its beautiful scenery still remains a deep impression in my memory.
