A Midsummer Nights Dream From Hermia's Point Of Veiw

My father Egeus wanted me to marry Demitrius, who was in love with me. But I love Lysander, so I refused. My father was cross. He told Theseus, who said that if I did not marry Demitrius, I would be sent away to a nunnery, or sentenced to death! Lysander and I made plans to escape the kingdom. We only told my best friend Helena, who used to go out with Demitrius and is still in love with him.
Lysander and I lay down to rest in the forest and fell asleep. When I woke up Lysander was missing. I went to find him, but met Demitrius who I accused of killing Lysander out of jealousy and then walked away angrily. Later I found Helena, Demitrius and Lysander. I was shocked that Demitrius and Lysander both said that they had fallen in love with Helena! Helena and I had an awful row, while the two men challenged each other to a duel.
I ran away and feeling vert tired lay down to sleep. When I woke up Lysander was lying down beside me, and Demitrius and Helena were beside us. Theseus and his fiancee Hippolyta were looking down on us all.
Theseus was annoyed at frist. Then Demitrius said that he loved Helena and Lysander saud he loved me! Theseus said wew ere all to get married.
Everyone was so happy, to celebrate we went to the mechanical's play which was very funny. Everything was back to normal again.
