Are we the biggest treat to our existence?
You would all agree with me when I say, if Thomas Newcomen was still alive today, and could see what is happening to our planet because he let the first smoke puff into the air when he invented the locomotive, he would have think twice about it.

In a period of three decades we humans have changed a perfectly good planet into a threat to our and it's own existence. With today's industrial countries pumping thousands of tons of poison gasses and toxic waist into the air and sea, it is no wonder why the planets delicate balance is moving from side to side
An American weather expert Kerry Emanuel stated that the hurricane Floyd, one of the worst of the decade, is a baby in comparison with what we can expect in the next hundred years. The currant Hurricane wind speeds under normal circumstances are 290km/h but Mrs. Emanuel forecast that there would be winds up to 320 km/h in the next decade. And this is all thanks to air pollution.
Air pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world. We all think that road accidents are the biggest killer of all but we are wrong .The World health origination have proven that last year more people has died from air prolusion caused by vehicles than from road accidents. About 21 thousand died from air polution against the 10 000 in road accidents, and that's not all
300 thousand children develop bronchitis, and 395 thousand adults had asthma attacks.
So what does that matter, it will never happen to you, well think again. From the 477 tested primary school kids in Johannesburg 80 present of them had more lead in their blood than normal. Maybe lead free petrol is better. The most air pollution comes from fossil fuels and coal.
