Survival in Auschwitz By Primo Levi Survivor’s accounts of the Holocaust are usually the books that I enjoy the most because it is a true story no matter how devastating it may seem. I find it hard to believe how anyone could have lived through the concentration camps. There has always been food on my plate, and I have never received a worse beating than a spanking here or there. It just tears me up inside to think of how cruelly the Jews and other prisoners were treated.
