Why did Lenin face so much opposition in his attempt to create a communist state
Between the time frame from October 1917 and 1923, Lenin as a communist leader was faced with massive opposition from both political and economical sectors of the society in his attempt to create a communist state. As well as having a great deal of opposition from inside the borders of Russia, Lenin was also faced with much foreign oppositions. The British, French, Germans, and the Americans disliked what Lenin was attempting to achieve because Lenin’s Ideology and Philosophy was different and too threatening to that of any other ruling class in the world. Lenin’s Ideology was that to achieve internationalization of communism in the long term and to fight against Imperialism, both political and economical. Lenin also tried to implement Karl Marx’s theory of man in society to Russia as a formula expressing the income distribution in full communism; “from each according to his ability to each according to his needs” was the formula Lenin wanted to implement.
